MATLAB takes time, especially when working with the Machine Learning Toolbox, which I'd assume they are. It's not an indicator of poor results, it's an indicator of not rushing it. Have a look on YouTube if you want to see what's involved. Then there's making a well presented report containing the data in an easy to read format which I'm sure will be heavily scrutinized. I'm glad they are taking their time to get it right. Nobody will know the true results until they're released, any speculation is just that.
