Most share subscriptions are shares for cash.

But some can be an asset in, and it be paid for later from Cashflow, split rebates or even royalties.

When woolworths sold dick Smith, they loaned the money to the purchaser to buy it for example.

So the purchaser of dick Smith actually paid zero.

The Co I worked for many years ago actually paid another company to take a business unit.

Strange things can occur depending on needs of both parties.

So this deal to me is an investment tnr is making in something and the payment terms are not shares or cash out of Tnrs own pocket.
