Whimsical outcome? I think not. Just to be clear. BullionFX is not a crypto company. They use blockchain to hold a registry of gold holdings according to https://www.bullionfx.com/about. blockchain != crypto. Even Mark Bouris is investing in BullionFX. 2.5% stake in a company that does multi-million dollar transactions every day, is a very big deal. Let's assume the company could make $150m a year, which is very likely according to https://craft.co/cmc-markets. That's a lot of money for doing essentially nothing.
TNR is very smart about this, they're basically pulling a Dale Carnegie (just not on that big a scale). Having their hands in the pie for the entire supply chain of gold is genius. This stock is going to the moon.
