Could it be the original TH was for a farm-in on PEP11 with deep pockets hence it would rule out Scomo's reason for funding and ability to complete the project? Hence, Scomo was moved to act before the news was made public hence he had to nip it in the bud before it happened.... because you gotta admit, that was a hastily convened press conference.
As to where to from here? Nobody knows... now where's that box of mushrooms whom I'm rooming with.
