This seems more than plausible. Because if sm had every intention of denying, why did he wait 7 months after his statement in march? Was it as you say, due to a bigger playing suddenly getting involved forcing his hand forcing him To override the processes in place. If it was a given that it would be rejected, why not let the natural process occur rather than override it. Very sus. And if so, what's going to be the impact?
