In light of the plunging price of I/O - I think this was a very prudent move. Although I have to admit this is in essence, a precursor for AGO to place a "For Sale" sign.
The thing is, other mid tier miners would have to be in the exactly same position. So instead of letting the SP free fall over the next few weeks - a voluntary suspension and review was really the only option.
