Maybe you misunderstand the concept of the lurk dump...
The seller waits for the volume of bids to reach a high enough volume to fill his order, then he slams on his sell at the bid price and hey presto he sold his uber parcel in one go.
I said nothing about making a profit, this is just a technique used to offload your parcel without others seeing it sitting there as an open order, which if your parcel is big and hefty, may affect sentiment. A.K.A. The lurk dump.
