Groan.
So, possible reasons...
For whatever reason, they couldn't announce before the market opened so they had to go into voluntary suspension (could they not have just extended the trading halt another 24 hours? - this isn't a good sign).
- They've hit a snag, and they need time to carefully word their announcement.
- They've flared gas but are waiting for some confirmed data from site (preliminary test results, pressures etc.) so they can announce more than just "we've done it!"
- They still haven't lit the fuse, they needed to do a bit more hole clean out work than first thought and will flare today.
- Somebody forgot the lighter and they need to wait for the general store at Copley to open.
Gas pressure zero.
Blood pressure high.
