If what redbar posted is true then I don't think there is any cause of concern just yet. My worry was that they had the results for a few days over the weekend and called a TH on Monday to give them time to work out what happened. Still couldn't work it out so they called for a VS. Regarding the time frame, two days from now is Friday. I believe they would have just stated Monday next week because they can as it is a VS and it seems as if the people over in the US are full of delays.
