What utter fantasy. A number of posters have reported that this share offer was being hawked around in the open market, why would that be the case if Troy had one or two major investors lined up since 2017? As of close of business yesterday clearly the company had not bedded down this cap raising otherwise they would have released an ASX announcement to that effect. Why would that be when if as you say these major investors have been ready to invest in Troy since 2017? And if Troy knew that they could tap these investors at any time in the last 12 months for funds why would they wait until the days before Christmas to do so.
Of course this is about liquidity: they have debts to repay, holes to drill and a bridge to build.
