Asked a mate about this. He said it is basically just an extension to the trading halt.
My guess is it is still good news. They gave themselves til Monday morning to get all the announcement documentation ready, but probably didn't have it all together in time, and didn't want to risk releasing the info too early until they crossed the t's and dotted the i's.
