LIN would have been in negotiations with Rift Valley about the REE project months before the agreement was concluded and the ASX announcement issued.
You do not come up with an offer of US$30m without guarantees that funds will be paid on time.
The minor delay is most likely as a result of terms of settlement ( ie Malawi legal and regulatory compliance requirements/ASX listing rules etc) yet to be finalised.
I do not anticipate any problems.
