My take is there is CR coming. Probably due to a budget blowout (or even more likely) a new time critical cost coming. It might explain why the trial start hasn't been announced yet. Cost of administering / sourcing people that meet the trial requirements, etc.
I think the insto investors are already aware of what is happening as they will be the ones that get tapped first.
The time lag from halt to suspension reminds me of other stock which had positive news flow and a spike in share prices over a short period (sounds familiar!) until one day... it didn't! It is a trend that is fairly standard and easy to read after a few times seeing it.
I don't think it is as simple as the ASX probing the wording of the announcement.
It could also include good (small-scale) news, but I am preparing for the worst. I hope I am wrong!!
