@Gaz96, to avoid future disasters like this, at the time you buy, also put in a conditional sell order to sell IF the stock drops to what may seem at the time to be a ridiculously low price. Eg you buy BVS at $1.00 and you put in a conditional order to sell if the stock drops to 80c. Most of the large brokers (CMC) will have this facility. I know this doesn’t dull the pain, but it may avoid significant future losses (even if the loss at the time may be hard to take !)
