Whiile I agree with your last statement, they could easily release info about corporate and technical progress without communicating sensitive info - about the actual data or clients.
I took AK's reference as them being inexperienced with listed companies and the requirement for continuous disclosure. I can't see any other reputable market as being much different.
So now they ARE listed on the ASX and they need to lift their game. Woulda/coulda/shoulda -> irrelevant.
