Why are you coming across as being emotional about this?

"The car industry spends billions a year on R&D. They literally sign up anything that has any potential. Hundreds of these collaborations are signed every year. They are essentially meaningless."

So if we apply this thought to everything the car industry does with their R&D spend then nothing comes to fruition. Do I have this right?
