Have been around a long time, and while I'm sure about my assessment of things, life has told me...never be totally sure......look forward sometime to sharing a sm with kori, rjb and mj...and debating the follies in the world......and no, we do not have to agree......just discuss, and agree to disagree.
I hear you mj on the dangers of suggesting illegal conduct.
I am currently involved in two court cases in Canada, both involve cases where, we assert, company management acted illegally and against the best interests of the shareholders. Both are finally moving to conclusions, one after 13 long years. Both cases are civil, seeking damages, not criminal. Have some experience in the area, and would be intrigued were i sued.......to have someone voluntarily present themselves in court for questioning re their actions, decisions, knowledge, how obtained, when, etc........somehow, don't think 'they'll' allow me the pleasure.
Rjb, that 9g/ton you expect to go through Plutonic, I'm assuming you're thinking the marymia tenement ore........not that simple friend. That ore, like the ore currently being milled from SGI ug, will not average that high grade....almost for sure, like SGI's ug ore, marymia's will be 'discontinuous'....ie, you can't just follow a vein....so, despite some high grade zones, sometimes very high, there's country rock to get through between ore zones, and a lot of much lower grade that will be mined as well which lowers the overall grade considerably. And, need to spend 20 million ( guesstimate) to start moving ug ore from Marymia...... it costs much much less to get the same quality ore from SGI ug, so that's where they'll mine, and, discontinuous though it is, SGI ug ore generated the 14 million profit in 2021. The only ore from marymia that will be used in the first 4-5 years, will be open pit ore. 10 yrs from now, sure marymia ug ore may be playing a big role, but not for a long while
Rjb, you also write...thats why the 22% of major shareholders of SGI (who unlike us, have probably seen the financials) have already voted yes.......that suggests the SGI bod, made production and financial information available to CYL bod that they did not share with SGI shareholders ( and then CYL showed that info to the funds, major shareholders, to get their backing )......that, imo, is illegal...... done fairly often, I grant you, but still, imo, illegal. I just don't have the energy and possibly another 13 years, to prove my point.
Anyway, none of the above matters.
I know, for sure, 10% of votes will be opposed, whether 33%, who knows....having greywolf oppose the deal helps...but then, they haven't offered, to this date, a better alternative.....and one has to a bit careful of that 'out of the frying pan into the fire' scenario.
Me droning on, banging the same drum, is even boring me........
Be happy friends, you live in a great country.......and not many can say that......we in Canada are equally fortunate, ...save for our weather.
