Time wasting exercise. Dion was upbeat at the AGM only 2.5 months ago and mentioned no signs of this. Clearly something went very wrong and shareholders were not disclosed how fragile the company was. Another tax write-off for a lot of investors. Meydan will suffer most, but he's got billions either way. He could have easily injected another $10M and kept Openpay alive and only risk losing another $1M at most, but enough is enough. He'd prefer to take a $50M loss.
