I see it as follows:
- there has obviously been a delay to the drilling. I too feel impatient about this. A simple announcement with the current status and target revised schedule would be good. I think this would probably ease investor concerns. At the end of the day though, the drills are relatively cheap and there is some slack in the schedule anyway for Q423 production. It would be good if management clarified whether any delay to the drill eg to October impacts the Q423 production timing (surely November would start cutting it fine?)
- I was actually happier about the August announcement than others as I always expect the sorting out of production to be harder than expected. So good that the processor is on track, key equipment purchases are happening and things are progressing despite the drilling delay.
- I agree with others that, when the well is drilled, I will be very interested to see what the flow rate ultimately is. If it is good then you would think the hookup will be easier and cheaper.
- I am not sure how I feel about the talk of a capital raise. So close to production/revenue they probably wouldn't need that much but maybe another poster has it right that they seem confident to wait till they have the results of the drill. Personally I feel this would be fine as we would just be funding hookup costs at this point. Would prefer a SPP or entitlement issue so all shareholders could participate.
