It is highly likely that VR8 will require some equity funding to compliment the debt funding they secure (as someone suggested earlier, a 30-70% split is common). Engaging an external party to increase the share price obviously helps to reduce dilution when this capital raising is required. FID and mine construction is not far away in the scheme of things!
