This is the second time in a few weeks I have been put over a barrel on a crappy takeover offer (other one is Stanmore Coal).
You can't blame BGH for significantly lowering the offer given none of VRL's assets are earning a cent at the moment. I agree with others who have observed that BGH and the Kirby's can sit patiently and take the cream off the top in a few years time.
I will come out ahead but only modestly. Damn.
