Hi everyone, excuse my naivety as a new investor, but as a company whose services I frequently use I bought VRL shares 6 or so weeks back with a long term view that I thought the company would find its feet again post COVID-19 - now this announcement comes out. From what I read in the announcement as a VRL shareholder, if the parks and cinemas aren't open I'd receive either cash at the base rate of $2.10 a share (compared to today's SP of $2.13) or shares in the unlisted BidCo, or a mix of both. Being new to all this tbh I don't know what the impact is of receiving shares in an unlisted company - can anyone provide any commentary for me on what this means (understanding it's not financial advice) in case this goes through?
