I agree with your sentiment, however the ASX200 is up around 6% since the revised offer was announced 18th May. We hovered around $2.00 for the 4 weeks leading up to that, so being locked up around $2.10 is probably not so bad. I'll take the $2.40 if it comes about, it's certainly well short of the $8.00 highs we had years ago - 20-20 hindsight and all.
It's very true that travel stocks have jumped dramatically in the past 2 weeks, so we may well have been stitched up. Not much you or I can do about that though.
