It hasn't been made specifically clear what the Kirby's are being offered in the new entity. What BGH pay for the shares of VRC is a very different matter to what we are being offered - the "owners" might be getting a red hot deal for their ongoing services and for their VRC shares and therefore are not as concerned about the VRL price? Obviously that wouldn't be in our interest, but who would know? I wonder if BGH have to disclose what they pay for the VRC shares and any planned remuneration etc for the VRL directors? VRC is a private holding company, but it's value is integral to this deal, so I'd like to think this is made public in the interest of disclosure.

There are still an awful lot of VRL shares held by banks / financial companies. Will be interesting to see how the vote goes, I don't think this is over just yet.
