In a few years the world Lithium production won't reach for all LIBs any more , the price will explode ( also for your laptops and phones ) , then you will need all recycling batteries that you can get. I hope Australia will wake up and not allow to throw 97% of the batteries in the garbage from now on.. The Government will get TAX for this 97% !
Use the money for the Animals and reforestation. It cannot be that difficult to simply write a piece of paper stating that it is forbidden to throw away batteries in the garbage and that they have to be recycled separately. It is really very easy. a win win for all.
