No, not for this type of application. And my inorganic chemistry is a bit rusty. I've certainly intrigued by the valency of Vanadium and its inherent strength. Read Richard Rhodes book about the Manhattan project and the scientists ability to turn metals into gaseous form to enhance puritifcation. I'm thinking it might be possible to convert a redox compound into a charged liquid form that can be added to a battery matrix then quickly drained and replenished when discharged. The recharge site would do the time-sensitive recharging, especially if it was off peak.
