For those who aren't keeping up with the "goings on" at the Water Corporation, this article demonstrates the bigger picture and their plans for the future.
They are moving towards Solar Power in a BIG WAY !!!
Just look at the huge array of solar cells they have implemented.
This is just the tip of the iceberg.
The fact that they are trialling VRB's instead of Li-ion shows that word is getting around as to the usefulness of VRB's in these applications.

Every other State seems content to follow Elon Musk and his Li-ion "spin".
It would have been no easy task to get past that "influence", the politicians have been swooning over Elon Musk and Tesla for a long time now.
The guy yields a serious amount of influence !!

One would assume the State and Federal Government support AVL has been able to receive has no doubt assisted in this evolution.
