The fat in this one is knowing the underwriting is coming and perhaps the terms, don't get me wrong the horse has bolted and i have been to this dance before so i will move on... eventually.
I think if you read the article you will see what the big end of town are capable of and get away with - i also suggest when a company is coming to them in need of money they get away with a lot -if Asic cant prove it was them selling shares how would the client? , It also helps when there is a lack of buyers and a weak growth outlook - a perfect storm if you will.
