    steveSage, i think the good will issue may impact the franking the will be left to distribute - in any case if you look at the Q&A section of the earnings call transcript (when available) the CFO concurred with one investors who asked if that would be the case. Maxine was not drawn too much into the speculation of what the deal may look like but it seems that there will be a deal that reflects the value transfer that TLS want. worst case is that VTG milk ICT and invest in SHAW.

    on SHAW she announced another clinic acquisition which in the accounts is a 2m capex and settles mid feb and made the point that this will continue until they hit the planned 70 over 5yr. She also addressed one of the concerns expressed in this forum a couple of days ago that the companied owned strategy is deliiberate to control the brand they want to develop. i guess time will tell. the profitability metrix on the 19 clinics is not bad and there should be some further benefits of scale.
