for me i have to cut my losses with this stock. held on too long hoping maxine the founder would have a bigger commitment to the business post telstra but seems it did not play out that way with pete being the front man to shareholders and staff. different caliber of leader and not sure he was suited to the different industry artisan is in vs phone business. i am not sure lane will extract a higher price from sonic. it seems sonic were a bit shy with their first round but markets are a bit sensitive at the moment with what has happened over the past week and inflation still high etc etc sonic may walk away so its a fine balance between holding out for higher price and taking the money now. either way it seems the assets of VTG will be gone for well below their acquired value. its a pity. had they had two more years with both ICT and SHAW as businesses they may have had a different future but the market is punishing loss making business at the moment.
