There are 3 outcomes pre AGM regarding the SP, higher, lower of the same. All of which are meaningless without EXIM news.
All any IBG investor should be worried about is taking a position on the EXIM outcome. Moreover, if you really believe that there is some grand conspiracy you either have to sell, as management trust is a core component in investing, or just focus on your EXIM prediction.
Personally, I doubt that the current management are so Machiavellian. However, as per above, it is all moot at this point. I am waiting for 1 piece of the puzzle to appear.
