Maybe just an odd way that IBKR reports or executes trades but thems the numbers. It's kind of interesting in that I placed one buy order at market (anything around $1.05 was fine with me) but the IBKR machine reported it as eight transactions, the first transaction was 50% of my order at the lower price and then seven or so transactions were at $1.04 with small numbers of shares.
