The consensus at the time was pretty mixed, i thought AWE got taken rather cheap but there were plenty who were happy, I'd say mostly due to the hiding the entire sector copped when the rrr's fell out of the POO. Oil was only just coming out of it's slumber so i guess the feeling of relief helped sway some. We're in a much stronger climate currently...
