    Dont think multiple tubings will be doable. 8-5/8” liner being run now = 6”+ hole size for the next section (if they were drilling the more conventional 6” next they would be running 7” liner now, not the unusual 8-5/8”). So i guess in a kingia success they would run 5” (?) casing (5 km of it! - think about that for a moment, this will end up being the deepest vertical well onshore australia) to TD.

    I dont know anything about multi tubing wells but its seems pretty small to run two strings of tubing in what would end up being 4-1/2” diameter (5” is outer diameter of the casing). Also, if the kingia comes in with good permeability, the flow rate will probably be constrained by a single string of tubing. Why choke back the better zone with more gas volumes behind it. Waitsia wells would have flowed more if they had bigger tubing in them and they were drilled to TD 8-1/2” hole as they were 1000 m shallower (+/-).
