my take on things "The hole condition in the lower parts of the Wagina did not enable reliable logging to be achieved" so i'm guessing they would have some sort of logging data from the lower section & combined with comparing the cuttings from the lower section to the upper & the info gained while drilling re gas readings & drilling speed etc, they would have a pretty good idea of whats down there to make this comment.
