its an interesting project and the prize is massive - in terms of prize / market cap its hard to find anything sexier which is why the company has been so determined to make it work. Hopefully persistence pays off.
Rexsh, amongst many, has a different view but my main concern is the 35-45% co2 content. Others here who know way more about it than me would be better to probe. Im looking for a sustained good flow rate to offset the higher (compared to a conventional project) development and gas handling costs. Initial flows of ~500 mcfd for example are not going to cut it IMO. As far as i can tell, at this point in the dewatering process, rates are below a reportable threshold. It remains to be seen whether the coal perm, in combination with the connected frac areas are good enough to produce gas at sustained commercial rates once “reservoir” pressures are below the desorption pressure. That point could be reached quickly from here hence the intense interest in the forum.
