I formed my view on the highly unusual shorts in conjunction with past media leaks on the worker shortage situation in the past at Waitsia construction site. From what I read from reports a year ago, a broker has contacts with subcontractors/suppliers in Waitsia project and was told about workers not coming back.
And in the past, you hear about the extent fund managers and brokers do their research to find out what is going on in the ground. Not on Waitsia. Guess what they claim how they made extra money or manage to cut their losses.
