As of last week, WAK was working 24/4 from Monday to Thursday, and using Friday to perform maintenance and reset the settings to produce whatever was planned for the following week. Most employees thus work a four-day week, which makes sense for employees commuting from within a radius of circa 75k frpm the mine site. Work unrelated to the plant running (e.g., ore extraction) could occur on Friday, if required. When there are two plants, that would allow the current work schedule to change, and at some point, working on Saturdays and Sundays could be viable.
The Government is being rather tardy about commencing that railway reconnection of Wedin to the current rail grid, but road transport can handle 500,000 tonnes a year, so WAK has some years to run bgefore its sales exceed 500,000. Working 4 x 24 = 96 hours a week should translate to 96 x 25 - 2400 tonnes a week.
The next Quarterly report is slated for 27 July, and the Annual Report for 30 October.
