Your interpretation of 3.1A is totally incorrect. It clearly states that listing rule 3.1 does not apply if Oneormore of the following 5 situations applies under 3.1A.
There are many, many applications of 3.1A by Asx coys: info being analysed, data ratified, offers being formalised, awaiting Executiveand Board sign off, ad infinitum. Why else are there blackout period for director share purchases etc. Hint they are privy to (price sensitive) info that SHs are not.
