@Justadabble I suspect it was a combination of drivers. "redundancy"/back up supply would have to be on top of the list and the most compelling.
the others are "side" benefits...ie who would not want to get some easy extra gas to pump into a hot market that will pay them $10/GJ? as for the plant capacity...idk. not enough detail to be able to comment on capacity expansion.
on another note - you have done ok with the conversion. you're up 25%. The beauty of the TPD/STX deal was both were undervalued. STX more so - so TPD ended up with a good deal...assuming STX gets to run its full course.
