It would seem SN has taken the "pumping the good news" criticisms personally and decided not to give any specific info out until wirelogs have been run and evaluated, but the level and nature of whinging on here has also been taken to a new level.
Rather than focusing specific phrasing (or complaining about lack of info/SN/STX/everything), perhaps just focus on the larger context of what STX announced... "W7 well has passed through multiple sandstone reservoirs within the CCM and has registered positive observations on both mud logs and logging while drilling tools" ... can only mean they encountered gas across multiple reservoirs in the target sand sequence. This is obviously a big positive as we were drilling into a totally different fault compartment. So at least we know gas is present.
Next step is the wirelogs and then flow testing I guess.
Note: I was actually surprised at the TD of over 4000m, wouold explain why it took 18 days to reach.
