Yes, I would, but that is just a personal preference.
Early and reliable income is the way to go. Then let STX do what is does best, its core business.
In a start-up company I believe that value adding is entrepreneurial fantasy. A bright idea that might or might not come off.
STX has to be careful not to become a honeypot for consultants and useless overseas trips.
