From yesterday's Wesfarmers Strategy Investor Day the MD of Chemicals, Energy and Fertiliser, Ian Hansen as quoted in the AFR this morning:

“In terms of outlook for WA natural gas pricing, we foresee WA being exposed to a continuing tightening of the gas market that has the potential to impact pricing from as early as next year,” he said on Tuesday during a Wesfarmers strategy briefing.

I am biased as have been a long time shareholder but surely WES would have to have STX on their radar along with the oil and gas majors and large mining houses.

I don't think I've seen a time in history that the security of future energy needs in Western Australia has been so significant as it is right now.
