Thanks Desolutionary...I had a further look at the approvals database, and the last 2 pipeline approvals from APA (both onshore) took 6 weeks from lodgement to approval (interestingly there have only been 3 lodgements/approvals in the last 2 years in WA, so they are not a regular occurrence)

I'm also assuming you can only lodge the approval to commence operations once you have all the details/coordinates of the pipeline in question, so it could be a matter that construction/tie-in is now complete (i.e. Mechanical Completion that SN mentioned), and we have to wait 6 weeks for approval to turn the tap on (notwithstanding there is a request for further info above).
