Guys, I own shares in both STX and TPD.
Before STX came sniffing TPD share price for a very long time was between 17c and 18c. Walyering not yet in production and Mongolia funded and potentially rocking.
Today STX share price is 38c and TPD as a result 19c, not much of a takeover premium (on current prices) also given TPD potential upside.
Reality:
- STX has big plans and I hope they come off, but massive expenditure,
- STX needs TPD takeover or likely there will be a CR (at a discount) down the track,
- Take over of TPD is in many ways a CR as stx is printing money in the form future cash flow (without going to shareholders at a discount),
- Unless STX share price gets to around 45c this is likely not going to happen
- SN needs to get off his arse and reliably inform the market and restore credibility,
- The loss in STX share price has all to do with delays and lack of information (in my opinion) and not the TPD transaction.
Take it up with SN
Just my opinion
