Righto - armed with some Triple Cream Brie, crackers and a gin and tonic:

Unfortunately, in these figures we are not given the number of shareholders holding particular ranges of share numbers which is a bit disappointing as we can't compare them. We had that information given to us previously and it would have been helpful to use it this time.

If I remember correctly, the last time the figures were released the shareholders holding over 100,000 shares and above were numbered at approx 2000 shareholders.

However - Referring to the group of shareholders that are holding above 100,000 shares but are not in the TOP20. In total, (Namely Us....) that group is holding 1,121,950,857 of the total shares of the company or approx 44.24%

The Top20 in total are holding 1,187,504,647 shares or approx 46.34%

The Group holding under 100,000 shares is holding approx 8.92% of the total shares.

(*** The percentages total adds up to approx 99.5% but it will do.)

Why am I working this out? Because our group has teeth, and we won't get pushed into some shitty deal in a takeover bid which does not pass the Pub test by a pushy T20 holder...........

I am remembering what @mcappa said about NWE - Besides which I would like STX to continue operating to go on to pay dividends.

Also - someone out there has quite a few shorts to cover as well. To that entity - have a lovely stress-free weekend...........
