The lack of detail in this announcement is a bit of a concern.
No mention of the other usual mechanical testing (such as YS, elongation %, I wouldn't expect fatigue) Even the specific standard it was tested to is not mentioned. Pretty much all metal AM techniques result in anisotropy, therefore resulting in a variance of mechanical testing results, depending on the orientation(s) tested. And no mention of follow up testing to flesh out the results either.
I understand them wanting to keep the cards close to their chest, but if you're trying to support the SP and mark the announcement as price sensitive, surely you add the relevant details. This has got clarification request all over it...
