Suddenly the buy side has shrunk dramatically, the sell/buy ratio is 7:1 and the SP has dropped 20% in the final 25 minutes of trade today, including a one-share sale at 4.10 pm. I am now very worried that we are being set up to be taken over for peanuts. I know I've been accused of paranoia in the past, but at this level my losses on BCA would be the biggest in my portfolio.
This is all happening just as Wandanya is about to be drilled and the scoping study for the Balfour field is due for release. I know CEO Brendan Cummins keeps a close watch on the share register, but even this wouldn't be enough to expose any games going on behind the scenes. BC's own substantial shareholding is one of the few things that keep me hopeful.
Do posters here have any ears to the ground?
