While Wangle have not released specific information on how their product works, inflated results on Speedtest could likely be due to prior caching, providing increased speed and data savings due to retrieving from their servers rather than the source. As stickytroll highlighted earlier, repeated access from users that caches accessed materials (e.g. websites, videos) could result in improved results over time, assuming server space can accommodate. Data savings, theoretically, act in a similar manner, cached variables able to be compressed prior to endpoint distribution (going to the user [you]).

In saying this, hopefully the up and downrampers will remain cautious, due to uncertainty this early on. It is fair to be skeptical, but unjust to make bold claims when the app has only been out on one store for less than 24 hours. Time alone will tell as to the marked success or failure of the app, as the technology becomes better understood.
