I think (hope) that the chip would have taken a slight hiatus over the last couple of months. The development of the app has far more immediate and serious consequences for the company than the chip at this stage.
The chip may be the flagship ultimately but I would prefer them to sort out the app initially, generate revenue, iron out bugs, get a better feel for the market then divert focus to completing the chip.
That's my opinion anyway. There will be some on here who disagree regardless of what I say though
